A weekly review ritual for unfinished setups

Fifteen quiet minutes that keep your swing rules honest between workshops and coaching hours.

Setup skill fades when practice only happens in class. Students who keep a short weekly log arrive at coaching with specific questions instead of a vague sense that entries feel messy.

Pick three instruments you already follow. Once a week, save one chart each, note whether you saw a pullback or breakout family, and write one sentence about whether your checklist would have been complete. Skip performance scoring.

Mark charts you would have skipped because context was unclear. Learning when not to force a setup is as useful as learning when structure is clean.

Bring three of those weekly sheets to your next coaching hour. Instructors can then coach attention and wording — the parts that transfer to the next month of chart reading.
